Three Beautiful Things

I'm surrounded by beauty at all times. Here is where I found beauty tonight:
1. Turning the sheets down and finding a wilted dandelion pressed onto my pillow.
2. Tiptoeing into my daughter's room and cleaning sticky dandelion milk off her fingers while she slept.
3. Sitting on the grass alone in the dark, looking at the night sky and feeling grateful.

Where is the beauty in your world?

Thanks to Production, Not Reproduction for inspiring this post.

I always find beauty in chocolate cheesecake.
Looking in my DH's eyes.
The smell of rain. (we're near flood, and more is coming!)

Walking at sunset.
Hearing my kiddos laugh.

The cosmos and shooting stars are great.

Saying, "I love you" to everyone, including friends, because life is too short, and it's great to hear.

Hummingbirds at my feeder because if something that small can survive the winds and the storms to migrate to South America and back every year, why do I worry about anything?

1. Overhearing my teenage kids have a conversation with each other. Doesn't matter what its about...I just love that they WANT to talk to each other!
2. Sitting in the auditorium watching school plays, marching band, chorus concerts, high school talent shows, recitals......
3. The feel of walking through the door at home after I've been away on a business trip.
